A brief intro to my background...

From an early age I started developing an interest in music, started to get interested in learning an instrument and in particular the guitar caught my attention. I went into the conservatory of music with the idea of becoming a professional musician.

The idea of making a living as a musician faded, although that interest took me to pay attention to the people at the consoles, I though they were really the ones responsible to make a band sound good… and that got me hooked!; but in Mexico where I grew up, access to a school to learn the craft was limited.

Wasn’t until I moved to California that I was able to pursue a career in audio engineering years later. Worked the audio scene in LA after graduating then I relocated to Maui and continue working as sound engineer. I'm passionate about my craft and throughout the years in the industry I have gained experience in video production and web design which has lead to what is now Kahakai Media.
